Alex Nyman has been playing drums and percussion at a high level for over 12 years. Throughout that time, Alex has been involved with various projects ranging from jazz ensembles to rock/pop bands, R&B combos and classical orchestras. Equally adept in a myriad of styles and settings, Alex’s deep understanding of musical traditions has led him to pursue piano and guitar further complementing his skills as a drummer and percussionist. In addition Alex has experience teaching several disciplines in a wide variety of settings including private music lessons, tutoring mathematics, coaching youth sports programs and teaching English overseas in East Africa. Creative Drum Lessons began as a side project aimed towards beginners looking for a relaxed and comfortable environment to excel at playing a new instrument.
