Christian Pamerleau was born in Arvida in the Saguenay region and began his professional career in the late 1980’s after completing studies at the Conservatoire de Musique de Québec , Cegep St-Laurent and University of Montreal. Over the last 20 years, he has performed and recorded with the elite of the local and international jazz and pop scene with such artists as: Carol Welsman, Robert Charlebois, Michel Cusson, Alain Caron, Greg Amirault, Jean St-Jacques, François D’Amours , Philippe Noireaut, Daniel Lessard, Joshua Lebofsky, Jeff Johnston, Frédéric Alarie, Pierre Côté, Lorraine Desmarais, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Bet.E and Stef , Petula Clark, Joe Bocan, Marie-Denise Pelletier and many more. In addition, he appeared on more than 400 television variety shows and specials in various musical formats and taught drums at the Cegep of Drummondville and he is currently teaching at the Cegep Marie-Victorin. Composition is a part of his musical activities with the release in 2000 of his first CD “Airborn” and the release of his second CD 155 Nord (available on the web ) with his Vue d’Ensemble group. The group has just released their new one "Everyday Learning".
