I became interested in drums at the age of fifthteen, while watching music videos and live footage of Blink 182 and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Shortly after I received my first drum set and immediately began lessons.

After high school I attended Cambrain College in Sudbury, Ontario. There I Further my music education while studying Classical Music and Percussion with Professor Ian Gibson. During those years I performed several peices on Marimba, Timpani, Drum Set and Snare Drum. Further developing my stick control and rudimental patterns, that I would later transfer into my drum set playing.

Since finishing college, I have taken private lessons working on Latin and World grooves, as well as online lessons with Mike Johnston. Where I worked on several different styles, techniques and advanced rhythms. Fourteen years after my first lesson, I now share everything I've leaned with my students. Within in my first five years of teaching i have taught students between the ages of three years old, to sixty years old. From beginner to advanced players, as well as students with specials needs.
