Hello my name is Eric Woolston and I am currently accepting new students. Over the last eight years of teaching privately I have learned how to combine the fundamentals of drumming (groove, improvisation, technique, reading) into a fun program that allows students to achieve their individual goals while acquiring the skills to learn for themselves.

Originally from Sarnia Ontario, Eric moved to Toronto from Waterloo ON where he completed his Honours, Bachelor of Music degree in Orchestral Performance. Eric's first year in Toronto was spent at Humber College where he studied vibraphone with Mark Duggan and drum set with Mark Kelso. Eric continued studying drumset with world renowned educator Jim Blackley and jazz piano with Greg Dedenus. Some of Eric's musical highlights have included multiple European tours, CBC Radio sessions, major festval performances and professional theatre work. Aside from performance, Eric is a dedicated educator. He currently is the instructor of percussion at the Dixon Hall Music School and operates his own private studio.
